Whimsy & Wild

My website is still a work in progress but with more and more people asking me about it - I figured it was time to step up & bring W&W to the internet.

Whimsy & Wild initially started in 2022, sat at my little table mixing glitters and resin to create quirky earrings. My first styles were aliens, peace signs, stars, moons, hearts and flowers. I often tell people that this started out as my own little therapy - I loved mixing glitters and being creative & I was still trying to figure out who I was after having my baby.

After having my daughter, none of my clothes fit the same way and I felt like I had lost my sense of “me” - that combined with multiple chronic health issues and choosing comfort over style left me feeling quite drab. I quickly realised that making sparkly, colourful and quirky earrings were a way for me to add a bit of razzle dazzle to any outfit and that no matter which way my weight went, they would always fit!

Whimsy & Wild is still my creative therapy even today. I get a little thrill when I finish making a new design & a major buzz when other people love my items as much as me! I don’t know what the future of W&W holds but I do know it has given me my “self” back & I’m excited to keep growing alongside my business.
